TODAY IN PHILIPPINE HISTORY

Insular Life Assurance Company, the first Filipino insurance firm, was established along Echague St., Quiapo, Manila by Leon Mooser and Antonio Ma. Barreto.

At present, Insular Life is one of the largest Filipino life insurance companies. Insular Life has also the longest unbroken service record among life insurance firms in the country.

The company offers products ranging from ordinary whole life, endowment, and limited-payment plans to pension, college education, group, and investment-linked plans. It also provides life protection, health, savings, investment, and retirement products to individuals, families, businesses, and corporations. In addition, the company offers financial services through its subsidiaries. It offers its insurance products through agents.
