Today in Philippine History:

The Philippine Legislature passes Act No. 2928 adopting the Philippine flag as the official flag of the Government of the Philippine Islands to be flown next to American flag.

This law repeals Act No. 2871 which abolishes the Flag Law that bans the use of the Philippine flag and punishes those who disobey with sedition. Act 2928 adopts the version of the Philippine flag that has the American red and blue, rather than the Cuban red and blue.
