Did you know? A cum laude BS Electric Engineering and Computer Science graduate of Mapua Institute of Technology Philippines, Diosdado Banatao (or more popularly known as Dado Banatao) is regarded as “The Filipino Bill Gates”, “The Father of the Semiconductor”, and a Silicon Valley technology visionary.

He is well known for inventing the first Windows Graphics accelerator chip for personal computers – a technological foundation that is still used in modern computers. He is the co-founder of three start-up companies in the US – Mostron, Chips and Technologies and S3 Graphics.
