#SALAWIKAIN: “Ubos-ubos biyaya, pagkatapos ay nakatunganga.”

“Today you spend everything,  tomorrow you’ll have nothing.”

This proverb is about spending lavishly and its consequences. The cartoon shows a mother and a daughter trying to make ends meet as a result of buying something expensive (iphone).

Elders use this to remind kids on being wise with money or any other resources. This proverb is still relevant today as the younger generations should be constantly reminded to save and invest.
