WORLD’S LARGEST PAIR OF SHOES
Did you know? The Guinness Book of World Records for the largest pair of shoes was officially awarded to the 5.29m x 2.37m pair of leather shoes that was made in Marikina?
Marikina received this certification in December 2002, after producing a giant pair of shoes (made of genuine leather), thus solidifying its stature as the “Shoe Capital of the Philippines.”
It is currently being displayed at the Marikina Riverbanks Centre.
