With 397K hits in youtube, our featured video is no lightweight. “Always be Kiwi” (Young, Wild and Free Parody), is making a big wave in cyberspace by making a song about Kiwi stereotypes. The video is fun and playful which probably explains why it’s such a hit.

Produced by Oosh Multimedia, the song cleverly puts together Kiwi icons and clichés. The song mentions sheep, L&P, bumblebee, rugby, silver ferns, World cup, the Warehouse, lumps, saussies etc. It took a shot at Australia’s, “Frenchies”, and even at the haka.

How is that for Kiwiana 101? Take a few notes so that when you finally cleared the immigration and customs check at the airport, you’ll feel at home right away.
