TODAY IN PHILIPPINE HISTORY

The Lung Centre of the Philippines (LCP), located along Quezon Avenue, Quezon City Philippines, was established by President Ferdinand Marcos under Presidential Decree No. 1823.

The Centre is intended for the prevention, treatment, and rehabilitation of people affected by lung and pulmonary diseases, as well as research and training on the cure of the said disease, and is subsidised by the Government.
